Cialis Interactions

Don't apply Cialis if you are in addition using a nitrate medication for chest ache or heart problems, including nitroglycerine (Nitrostat, Nitrolingual, Nitro-Dur, Nitro-Bid, Minitran, Deponit, Transderm-Nitro), isosorbide dinitrate (Dilatrate-SR, Isordil, Sorbitrate), and isosorbide mononitrate (Imdur, ISMO, Monoket), or recreational drugs such as amyl nitrate or nitrite ("poppers").

Previous to using Cialis, notify your health professional about all other medicine you take for ED, or if you are taking whatever of these medicine:

• conivaptan (Vaprisol)
• diclofenac (Arthrotec, Flector Patch, Cataflam, Voltaren, Solareze)
• doxazosin terazosin (Hytrin), (Cardura), prazosin (Minipress)
• imatinib (Gleevec)
• isoniazid (for treating tuberculosis)
• rifampin (Rifadin, Rimactane)
• an antibiotic such as clarithromycin (Biaxin), dalfopristin/quinupristin (Synercid), erythromycin (E.E.S., EryPed, Ery-Tab, Erythrocin) or telithromycin (Ketek)
• an antifungal agent drug such as clotrimazole (Mycelex Troche), itraconazole (Sporanox), ketoconazole (Nizoral), or voriconazole (Vfend)
• an anti depression drug like nefazodone
• heart or blood pressure medication
• human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immune deficiency syndrome drug equivalent to amprenavir (Agenerase), indinavir (Crixivan), atazanavir (Reyataz), delavirdine (Rescriptor), fosamprenavir (Lexiva), nelfinavir (Viracept), saquinavir (Invirase, Fortovase), darunavir (Prezista), or ritonavir (Norvir)
• seizure medication equivalent to phenobarbital (Luminal), carbamazepine (Tegretol), or phenytoin (Dilantin)
